The 6th Meeting of the Project’s Partners, the Steering Committee and the Users Committee was held remotely on 30 November 2020 at 11.00 a.m.
The Meeting aimed at summing up of obtained results of researches as well as at presenting of dissemination manners of these achievements among entrepreneurs potentially interested in implementing of them on an industrial scale.
The representatives of the Institute of Natural Fibres and Medicinal Plants informed that they were finalising the researches. The obtained results were presented at the Seminar promoting the Project organised in the form of webinar on 5 November 2020 as well as in the promotional brochure. The final report for the National Centre of Researches and Development will be submitted in due time.
The representative of the German Project’s Partner – Fraunhofer IMWS – observed that due to a restricted access to the laboratory caused by the pandemic COVID-19, complete results and a final report for the Project Financing Institution would be presented by the Institute at the stipulated date, i.e. by the end of January 2021 at the very latest.
The originally planned for spring, however postponed due to pandemics COVID- 19, Seminar promoting the Project – was held remotely in the form of webinar on 5 November 2020.
The Seminar aimed at presenting the results of researches conducted by the Project’s Partner – Institute of Natural Fibres and Medicinal Plants as well as applications of these results in the industry.
The Seminar was held within the conference entitled ” Rebuilding and Sustainable Development of Production and Processing of Natural Fibrous Raw Materials for Needs of Agriculture and Economy” organised by the Institute.

On 19 September 2018 the conference within the series – Innovative Solutions for Polish Agriculture was held in the headquaters of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development in Warsaw. The meeting focused on a growing and a production of fibrous and medicinal plants for industrial purposes.
The conference under the theme « Innovative solutions for the Polish Agriculture – Polish fibrous and medicinal plants for the innovative bioeconomy » was dedicated to farmers’ organisations and associations as well as to economic operators and research institutions.
During the meeting Assoc. Prof. Małgorzata Zimniewska, PhD Eng – the Director of the Institute of Natural Fibres and Medicinal Plants – delivered a comprehensive lecture regarding the prospects of a growing and applications of fibrous plants.
The promotional activities connected with the CELPREG project also were undertaken during the conference, i.e. the promotional roll-up was presented to the participants. Furthermore, all the gathers received the promotional brochure along with the set of the conferential materials.
The first meeting of the project participants was held in Poznań in the seat of the Institute of Natural Fibres and Medicinal Plants, on 25 June 2018.
Dr. Małgorzata Zimniewska – the Director of the Institute of Natural Fibres and Medicinal Plants and – at the same time – the Manager of the Project Researches as well as the Director of the Gdynia Cotton Association – Ms. Katarzyna Święcicka – the Project Coordinator – welcomed the participants of the meeting.
Within the approved agenda, representatives of the project partners presented the scope of activities and achievements of their institutions as well as the planned works and tasks under the CORNET/24 Celpreg/3/2017 Project.
Furthermore, at the meeting the members of the Project Steering Committee were elected in persons of: Katarzyna Święcicka (Chairwoman), Małgorzata Zimniewska and Sven Wüstenhagen (IMWS)
The next meeting of the Partners and the Users Committee was scheduled for the beginning of December 2018, in the headquarters of the Gdynia Cotton Association in Gdynia.
